A unique contribution

It is not what you do that give you value, it is who you are that makes what you do valuable.

God has brought us into this world to be a unique contribution to this world. He has created you with a unique purpose and plan to bring into being.

In Eph 2:10 we read: For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

In Jer 29:11 we read: For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you, not to harm you; plans to give you a hope and future.

If your mission on this earth is to express art, or transport, or business, or you have the gift of knowledge, that is great. However it requires money to become all that you can be. In poverty you cannot give full expression to what God has created you for. For want of money, many God given dreams have died.

The grave is the richest place on earth, with all the songs that were never written, all the inventions which were never realised and every number of good thing that never came into being.

So lets talk about money. Why do you need money? You need money because you have a responsibility to the world to become everything you are meant to be.

From infant school you are told to get a good education, get a 9 - 5 job and then you retire and die. But God wants more for our lives. He wants to speak to you and bring you into the fullness of his plans for you. How is He going to do that? Through a miracle a day? No, he is going to give you ideas. To one he might give an idea to create a gadget, to another the idea to write a song. When we nurture the ideas which come from heaven, they are sure to bear fruit.

So, how do you nurture these ideas? God has given us a very powerful tool, which is our mind. What we chose to focus on, that is what will increase. It is like planting a seed into fertile ground, which eventually will bear fruit. If you want to be successful you need to reprogram your mind.
