Greater expression and expansion

The Divine is always looking for fuller expression and expansion!

When we look in Gen. 5 we see that God created 'mankind' in his image and likeness. Our desires for more in life, comes from the Divine within us. He is always looking for a greater expression and expansion.

He has laid down the principles for all mankind to follow and like any law or principle, any man can apply the laws of His Kingdom and get results.

In Joshua 1:7 we read: Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.

As you can see, God is telling him to obey the 'law' (principles of God) and do not turn to the right or to the left and you will be successful. God has put principles in place, which will work like any other law of nature.

We just need to apply those principles in our lives to see the fruit of it.

In Deut 8:18 we read: But remember the Lord your God , for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth and so confirms his covenant which He swore.

Everyone on this earth has been called to give expression of Him. The question is, what does God want to express through you?

Has he given you an idea? Has he given you a seed for a lemon tree and wants you to make lemonade? That is the question. Take a few minutes now and watch this clip on youtube: https://youtu.be/loqjxh_MDCM

As you saw in this clip, these children did not get rich because they were so well educated - some of them had not even entered the school system yet. They got rich because they followed their idea. The ideas were not earth shattering ideas - Jam, bottle tops, cooking bacon etc. But these children did take their idea and did something with it.

There is nothing so powerful as an idea whose time has come.

God calls us to create and to operate as He does. He has placed his divine ideas in us and wants to express them through us.

So what happens if he does not find fertile ground in you? He moves on to the next person in whom he can find expression. Don't believe me? Just look at Moses. It was God's divine idea to deliver the Israelites and bring them into the promised land, but when things went belly up in the desert, God pulled the plug on using Moses and passed the job onto Joshua. In the same with with Elijah, who ran away after a glorious showdown on mount Carmel. He actually asked the Lord to kill him, but God said, no I am not going to kill you, but I do want you to anoint a replacement and that man was Elisha.

So why would someone not just use the laws of the Kingdom to get rich and live a life of luxury for themselves?

If you go back to the old testament, God called Israel his wife. He brought her out of Egypt and gave her the promised land. He blessed her with cities she did not build and wells she did not dig, with vineyards she did not plant and so it truly was a land flowing with milk and honey. However it was not long until the Israelites started only to pay lip-service to God.

They forgot about Him. They departed from Him in their hearts and just started living a life of luxury - focussed on their own pleasures. You can read the story in Hosea. God called them an unfaithful and adulterous wife. The Lord was blessing their lives and they were spending that blessing on false Gods instead of using the blessings that he gave them to fulfil the mission which he had given them: To be a blessing to the whole earth.

So the conclusion is that the Lord is looking for those who will collaborate with Him and his plan for this world. When we do and we allow Him to express His plan in us and through us, we are carried on His tidal wave to an expected end.
